FIRE!!!!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow down to a golden idol made by the king, Nebuchadnezzar. And the king promised that anyone who did not bow down and worship would be thrown in a fiery furnace. Oh, but these three jews...they knew who their God was; A heavenly Father of power and spirit. They believed that God would save them from the fire. They even told the king so. Nebuchadnezzar, got angry at this and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were bound up and thrown in the fire. But wait.... Something is wrong. "Didn't we throw three tied men into the fire? Why do I see four untied men walking in the furnace, and the fourth man looks as though he were a son of the gods?", said the king. These three jews left the furnace without a burn, or scent upon their body. And they were given a higher position in Babylon.

How many times have you gone through this fire? Were you able to stand it? Yes, you were. I don't care how tough it was, you still made it through. Perhaps right now you are bound and in a fiery furnace. It seems there's no way out. Oh... but God... He's right there with you and he will not let the fires consume you! Stand your ground with God and He will LOOSE you and LET YOU GO!!!!

Whatever you are needing right now. Ask God to calm the fires around you. Get someone to stand in agreement with you, for the bible says, "if two or more are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."

REMEMBER::: 1+1 DOES NOT EQUAL TWO, IT EQUALS THREE!!!

Stuff happens

Isn't it strange what the devil does to ya when you start telling people about Christ? For the past two weeks I've managed this journal, my christian website, and a christian blog. Oh boy, does the devil hate it. He's been bringing up some old memories of mine ever since I started this. He just hates that I'm wanting to reach the world telling people about Christ. I'm not worried about a thing though, and I don't dwell on the past that the devil tries to remind me of. I just announce, "enough is enough" and "get behind me satan", and I go on about my business not thinking anymore about it. Then he tries something else like getting people to disrespect me. He knows exactly how to hurt me. Again, I rebuke him and go on about my business.
We always have to be strong when satan throws his punches at us. The bible says, "resist the devil and he will flee." That's exactly what I was doing. I rebuked him and ignored him and eventually he stopped. That's the way God wants us to be. He wants us to be strong and know how to resist the devil and continue living for Him. We can't stop and allow satan to come into our minds and listen to him. We have to just speak "get behind me satan" just as Jesus did when he was tempted.
The next time you go through a battle with satan think about what Jesus would do (WWJD) and remind satan that he has lost, and rebuke him.  Of course, that won't be the last time you hear from satan, but now you know what to do.

Nice comment

I got a nice comment today on my weblog(godsyounggirl.tblog.com). Everyday I start a new blog with a scripture and meaning and plus from time to time I post inspirational stories. You know... It's those small comments that keep me going. When you start to think that no one out there is really listening, someone always comes with a few sweet words. I believe that that is the voice of God telling me to go on and that there are souls that need to be taught.

Fisherman

  • Mood:
The Fishermen of Luke Chapter 5

The bible story in Luke chapter 5 can be of great importance... A few fishermen set down their nets in the sea several times and didn't catch anything. They were about to give up. But then Jesus spoke saying, "let down your nets again." These men were tired and ready to quit. They said to the Master, "we have been fishing all night and have caught nothing, but by your word we will obey." They let down their nets one last time and to their amazment there were more fish than they could handle in just two small boats. Even the boats were beginning to sink because of all the weight. When Peter saw this, one of the fishermen, he fell to the Lords feet and pleaded. The Lord said unto them all, "Fear not. Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." These men were going to be used by God's awesome power.
Those fishermen trusted the Lord and obeyed Him because they knew it was for a reason, so they casted their nets one last time. And then the Lord showed them his power...

Sometimes we want to give up. We don't want to go on any longer. We are sad and depressed, and have allowed the enemy into our vessel. But there is that still small voice telling us to keep going. We must obey that voice. We must be strong to draw from the well of power, joy, and prosperity. We have to cast our nets one last time. And no matter what the situation may be, we should obey the Lord and have the attitude of a lion and say, "I'm going to walk right through this situation because if God lets it happen then it must be for a REASON!!."

request answered

  • Mood:

Hi,

Just recently I emailed TBN(Trinity Broadcasting Network) telling them about how I reach people over the internet to turn their hearts to Christ. And I told them that I have  trouble reaching to Muslims because of the extensive questions they ask. I asked them if they could send me the book Jesus and Mohammed that Paul Crouch announced on a "Praise the Lord" program.  To my surprise they replied to my email saying:

"Christina, you little missionary, we are  sending you Jesus and Mohammed and pray that you will have good understanding and leading of the Holy Spirit at all times.

Thank you for being our friend and partner."

It just overwhelmed me because actually Paul asked for a love gift in return. I didn't have one at the time, but they still are sending me that book. All I can say is, "Thank you, TBN!"

just somethin'

Hi,

Man, I'm so bored today. Nothing to do all day. But you know, i thank God for this life because things could be worse. Sometimes we complain so much about what we have to go through in our everyday lives. We should always think that things could be worse than they already are. It's always good to be happy and to thank God for the life we have. Sure things get bad every now and then but that's our chance to stand up for ourselves and make it through the situation. And besides, we aren't going through the situation alone. God is always by our sides. He never leaves us.
When we go through something He is going through it with us. If we are walking in the valley of the shadow of death God is by our side no matter what. He won't take away the trial but He will help us go through it.
A trial is only a test to get us stronger in serving the Lord.  Infact, sometimes people rebuke the devil for a situation and it's not the devil. God sometimes allows satan to bring  trials and temptations to test us. We have to remain strong and realize that we aren't in this alone.
